Qualifications

• Previous dealership title experience (SC and NC experience strongly preferred).
• Active NC or SC notary commission.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines across two states.

Responsibilities

• Review title applications on retail sales for accuracy.
• Confirm funds have been collected before title work is processed.
• Prepare tax and title documents according to state guidelines.
• Register new and used vehicles in the state where they’ll be titled.
• Submit all legal transfer work to the DMV.
• Review trade-in and purchase titles for accuracy.
• Bill out dealer trades and prepare MCOs for transfer.
• Bill out wholesales and prepare titles.
• Sign over titles to wholesalers once they’ve paid in full.
• Flag any uncollected wholesale funds to management.
• Maintain the tax and title fee schedule.
• Maintain dealer tag records and renewals.
• Report outstanding title issues to management every week.
• Keep up with changes to SC and NC title regulations.
• Direct the title runner’s daily routine.

What you’ll do

Retail title processing
