Job summary

University of Wisconsin – La Crosse maintains an instructor pool for Finance to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. Instructors operate under the supervision of the department chair, maintain currency in the content area, evaluate student work, hold office hours, and may advise students or provide departmental service as needed.

The pool supports the Finance department by selecting instructors as needs arise and schedules may vary based on

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department, or significant progress toward a doctorate degree, or post-baccalaureate certification/licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
