Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks graduates for the Hubbell Rotation Program (HRP) in Shelton, CT. This three-year program provides rotations across Finance and Accounting disciplines with mentorship from Hubbell leaders, broad exposure to financial planning, reporting, controls, and strategic initiatives.

You will build financial acumen through projects in Controllership, Investor Relations, Accounting Services, and Operations Finance, preparing for future leadership roles within Hubbell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Versatility, flexibility, and ability to manage evolving priorities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive short and long-term financial planning, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Implement critical financial controls and performing key financial accounting activities.
• Conduct industry and peer market research and benchmarking.
• Communicate strategic initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Valuation analysis and financial modeling.
• Drive insights on manufacturing and operational performance.
• Prepare monthly presentations to communicate results as needed.
• Support forecasting activities, including the annual operating plan.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and support financial reporting.
• Work with team to drive cash collections; track payments and reconcile invoices.
• Act as a liaison between Finance and Accounting teams and Hubbell’s Operations teams.
