Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Manager for the Finance Professional Development Program (FPDP) to oversee operations, recruitment, and participant development. The role supports about 40 participants globally and coordinates with finance leaders, talent development, recruiters, and stakeholders.

Required are a Bachelor’s in Finance/HR/Business or equivalent, and 5+ years in Finance/HR/Talent Development. Travel is 15–20% with a base pay range of $99,300 to $198,700 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of experience in Finance, HR, Talent Development, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of HR policies, practices, and compliance requirements.
• Strong program management, planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment of approximately 30 Finance Summer Interns annually through campus recruiting activities, professional organization events, and internal and external talent sourcing initiatives.
• Support the recruitment and selection of approximately 20 new FPDP participants annually and lead onboarding activities.
• Foster participant development through regular coaching, career guidance, performance feedback, and ongoing support.
• Provide leadership and oversight to four participant-led program committees, ensuring alignment with program objectives and professional development goals.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute FPDP events and learning experiences in partnership with program members, vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Manage core program processes, including participant interviews, rotational assignment planning and matching, development planning, and global mobility support.
• Oversee procurement, budgeting, and payment processes associated with program services, including training programs, housing arrangements, and relocation-related services.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with Recruiting Team Captains, Regional Champions, Abbott Talent Development (ATD), and Early Careers teams.
• Maintain accurate participant records and program data within Workday.
• Manage FPDP SharePoint site and other program communication resources.
• Travel approximately 15-20%, including domestic and international travel.
