Job summary

BioMarin in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Finance Development Program Analyst for a full-time, in-person role. This 24‑month program offers two distinct 12‑month rotations across corporate finance, R&D finance, financial reporting, accounting, audit, and treasury.

You will receive ongoing coaching, functional and leadership training, and quarterly Development Day programming to grow as a finance and business leader within BioMarin’s corporate groups.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• 0–2 years of full-time work experience; demonstrated leadership in academic, professional, volunteer, or extracurricular activities.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; interest in AI tools like Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Execute: gain hands-on experience across multiple facets of corporate finance during a structured 24‑month program.
• Develop: build leadership capabilities through ownership, collaboration, and delivering results with accountability.
• Rotate: complete two distinct 12‑month rotations across finance functions such as corporate finance, R&D finance, financial reporting, accounting, audit and treasury.
• Grow: receive continuous coaching, training modules, and quarterly Development Day programming.
• Connect: build a broad professional network across finance and other departments in a mid-cap biotech company.
