Job summary

A.Y. McDonald Industries is seeking a senior finance leader to drive the company’s financial strategy across multiple subsidiaries, including McDonald Plastic Molding.

You will partner with executives to shape FP&A, control environments, and capital planning, while developing talent and advancing process improvements. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, reporting, modeling, and M&A due diligence support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; master's preferred.
• CPA/CMA or similar certification is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience in multi-company manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with financial planning, reporting, internal controls, and capital investments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO and senior leadership to shape financial strategy.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Oversee consolidated accounting, controls, and external audit.
• Manage treasury, tax planning, and risk management.
• Drive operational finance improvements and process standardization.
• Develop finance talent and build organizational capability.
