Job summary

A.Y. McDonald Industries is seeking a senior financial leader to drive strategy, planning, and robust financial reporting across its family of companies.

The role partners with the CFO and executive team to align financial goals with operational performance and growth. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and risk management, plus strengthening internal controls and process improvements across manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; master's preferred.
• CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience in a multi-company or multi-location manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, integration, or financing activities preferred.
• Experience leading organizational change and using enterprise systems for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO and senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across the organization.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting and internal controls.
• Coordinate tax planning, risk management, and audit activities.
• Drive cost visibility, margin management, and capital discipline with operations and sales.
• Develop finance talent and build organizational capability.
