Job summary

Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indio, CA seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Finance to lead payroll, A/R, and A/P, while partnering with the Director of Finance on reconciliations and reporting. Qualifications

• Experience in accounting leadership within hospitality, resort, or hotel environments.
• Solid understanding of payroll, A/P, A/R, reconciliations, and audit processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and process bi-monthly payroll accurately and in accordance with policies and compliance standards.
• Manage Accounts Receivable billing for FIT and Group business segments.
• Supervise Income Audit functions, including daily cash reconciliation and revenue verification.
• Lead Accounts Payable operations, ensuring timely invoice processing, accurate coding, and vendor payments.
• Assist the Director of Finance with balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Support audits with documentation preparation, follow-up, and compliance controls.
• Partner with department leaders to ensure accurate reporting, financial accountability, and operational efficiency.
• Help drive process improvements and maintain strong internal controls across finance functions.
