Job summary

RTX in Tucson is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee a complex portfolio's financials, including long-range and annual plans, forecasts, and customer briefings. This role requires DoD-level security, a strong background in earned-value management, and experience leading large teams in capture and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 12+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 10+ years.
• Professional experience in a related finance role.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Experience with earned-value management.
• Experience leading multiple people or teams.
• Experience in proposals and competitive capture.
• Experience leading profit‑and‑loss across production and development.
• Active and transferable DoD Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with program area directors to ensure sound business decisions.
• Manage all financials for a complex portfolio.
• Drive financials while tracking performance across short and long-term initiatives.
• Build the Long-Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
• Develop and oversee forecasts for bookings, sales, earnings, and cash.
• Provide financial briefings to customers and leadership teams.
• Support cost strategies for competitive captures.
• Develop and lead a team of managers and set performance expectations.
• Oversee processes like EAC, reporting, gates, working capital, and EV qualification.
