Job Description

The Sales Forecasting Lead will assist in creating sales forecasts and consolidating processes within the Immunology Franchise (e.g., SKYRIZI or RINVOQ). This role involves developing accurate and timely projections of commercial product volumes for all Plan, LBE, LRP, Portfolio, and Actual submissions. The individual will build and maintain knowledge of the business through close communication with cross-functional partners, including executives, Marketing & Sales Management, Marketing Analytics, Demand Planning, and Commercial Finance.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Lead and develop accurate product sales projections for use in Plan, LBE, LRP, and Portfolio submissions, including market and competitive landscape forecasts, using sound analytical assumptions and effective communication of rationale with guidance from the Associate Director and Director.
  2. Lead the consolidation process for Actuals, Plan, LBE, and LRP by collaborating with finance leads for each indication to provide a holistic brand view.
  3. Support month-end actual close processes, including preparing variance analyses for Price, Pipeline, and Demand, along with close commentary.
  4. Operate independently to prepare and create sales reporting and key metric forecasting packages.
  5. Work directly with Commercial, Pricing, Finance, Market Analytics, and Business Insight teams to address business issues and provide analytical solutions.
  6. Support ad-hoc analytics for various business needs, including product launch scenarios and channel/product mix impacts.
  7. Proactively identify areas for process optimization to create efficiencies within forecasting and drive projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least six years of experience in analytics, forecasting, or financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with good interpersonal skills to work effectively across management levels.
  • Ability to analyze diverse data sets to inform forecasting and financial impacts.
  • Agility to prioritize and understand issues quickly, ensuring data integrity under tight deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP, BPC, and PowerBi is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and support the business across multiple locations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in pharmaceuticals and forecasting is preferred.
