Job Summary

Our growing Voluntary Benefits Division is seeking an Employee Benefits Consultant to recruit, train, and support broker partners in Louisiana (excluding New Orleans). Responsibilities include recruiting new producers, training, achieving premium growth, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities
  1. Recruit, train, and develop producers to meet sales objectives.
  2. Make qualified calls on groups with producers and support new producer accounts.
  3. Maintain positive relationships with internal departments.
  4. Meet or exceed sales targets.
  5. Analyze markets and develop recruiting strategies.
  6. Support existing clients and develop new opportunities.
  7. Provide marketplace feedback and support cross-selling initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience in the insurance industry, on either the carrier or broker side.
  • Ability to travel within Louisiana.
  • Life & health licensing (must obtain within 6 months if not licensed).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
