Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Director, IT Business Partner - Finance to serve as a strategic partner between IT and the Finance division. You will shape technology strategy, oversee Workday and related platforms, and drive value through strong relationships with executive leadership.

You will lead a diverse team, manage a portfolio of applications, ensure data integrity across systems, and champion governance, risk management, and benefits realization to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role supporting business functions with technology management.
• Progressive experience managing enterprise system design (e.g., Workday or other core enterprise platforms).
• Experience managing a portfolio of ancillary applications and the integrations between them.
• Deep understanding of Core Accounting/Finance/Supply Chain
• Demonstrated experience working with executive leaders to understand needs and coordinate responses.
• Strong customer service mindset and track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate information to IT team members and customers.
• Proficient computer skills that include Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

Responsibilities

• Strategic business partnership with divisional leadership to define and execute a technology roadmap.
• Lead the application/technology team to deliver outstanding customer service and align IT with business needs.
• Manage portfolio of ancillary applications and ensure data flow between Workday and systems.
• Oversee administration, enhancement, and optimization of core platforms and integration points.
• Guide partners and end-users to improve processes using available technology.
• Ensure SLAs and proactive troubleshooting to minimize disruption.
• Mentor the technology team and develop domain knowledge.
• Participate in Governance committees and advocate for priorities.
• Manage vendor relationships and assess performance.
• Define benefits realization and track outcomes post-implementation.
• Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory requirements relevant to the domain.
• Collaborate on other duties as assigned.
