Job summary

Virginia Green is offering a Summer Internship Program that gives students hands-on experience across departments. As a Finance Intern at Virginia Green, you will support financial projects, learn how teams use data to inform decisions, and gain practical experience beyond the classroom.

Key duties include monthly closing support, assisting in the budget process, GL reconciliations, and reconciling customer payments and accounts payable.

Day in the Life:

• Monthly closing duties
• Assist in budget process

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of general financial accounting

Education and Experience

• Must be a college student in good standing: accounting, finance, business, supply chain, or data analytics majors preferred

Minimum Physical Requirements

• Walking, standing, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to use computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods
• Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs.

$18 - $19 an hour

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
