Job summary

Christensen Farms offers an end-to-end finance internship providing exposure to data analysis and senior-level visibility within a corporate setting. You will engage in financial performance analysis, cost/benefit studies, and special projects that drive results.

Majors Areas include handling large data sets, applying Excel, and leveraging Power BI and SQL to communicate findings. This role requires excellent communication and a drive to learn in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate Finance degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SQL and Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

A holistic, end-to-end experience in a corporate environment with access and visibility to senior executives, experience in financial and performance analysis and involvement in special projects that will drive results.

Core hours of operation are 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday thru Friday.

10 weeks (End of May through first week in August).

• Ability to pull and manipulate large amounts of data for analysis to provide meaningful information
• Aptitude to conduct cost/benefit analysis, performance analysis, and benchmark analysis
• Handling sensitive and confidential information with honesty and integrity
• Complete special projects as needed and other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Experience Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited local University, with a major in Finance. Junior or Senior level, with current GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship
• Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate process and findings through oral and written communication
• Ambitious, positive attitude, and a desire to build a career in the Finance field
• Possess a strong desire to learn and eagerness to gain hands-on experience
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, especially excel. SQL and Power BI experience a plus
• Knowledge of industry terminology a plus
