Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is offering a paid internship in Finance & Accounting for current students in Wisconsin. You will gain hands-on experience, work on real projects, and receive mentorship to grow your career.

We provide training, an associate discount on major brands, holidays off, and housing available for out-of-town interns. Competitive base pay starts at $20.00/hr with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Minimum GPA 2.5 or higher is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Learn functionalities of Finance & Accounting and gain real-world understanding of finance analysis and reporting.
• Work on real-world projects, making impactful contributions to the business.
• Learn, develop, and implement ideas based on Blain's Pillars.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand how support contributes to success.
• Assist the team with day-to-day tasks to gain departmental insight.
• Deliver a presentation of your project and research to key stakeholders.

Compensation

• Competitive base pay starting at $20.00/hr

Job Duties

Learn functionalities of Finance & Accounting while gaining real world understanding of finance analysis & reporting, data management & financial systems.

• Contribute to key projects:Work on real-world projects, making impactful contributions to the business
• Assist in Strategic Initiatives:Learn, develop, and implement ideas based off Blain's Pillars
• Engage in cross-functional teams:Collaborate with different functions to understand how cross functional support contributes to the overall success of the business
• Support Daily Operations:Assist the team with day-to-day task to gain insight on the departments process
• Present Your Findings:Deliver a presentation of your project and research to key stakeholders
• Receive mentor and coaching:Work closely with your mentor receiving feedback and guidance to help you navigate your career path
• Participate in hands-on workshops:Led by industry experts, gain valuable insights and skills to equip you for success in the professional world

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong communication, writing & time management skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
