Job summary

Blain's Farm & Fleet is offering a finance internship for current college juniors and seniors in Janesville, WI. You will learn Finance & Accounting, gain hands-on experience with analysis, reporting, data management and financial systems.

You will contribute to real projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and receive mentorship to build essential retail finance skills for your career.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher and a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication, writing and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn functionalities of Finance & Accounting while gaining real-world understanding of finance analysis & reporting, data management & financial systems.
• Contribute to key projects: Work on real-world projects, making impactful contributions to the business
• Assist in Strategic Initiatives: Learn, develop, and implement ideas based off Blain's Pillars
• Engage in cross-functional teams: Collaborate with different functions to understand how cross functional support contributes to the overall success of the business
• Support Daily Operations: Assist the team with day-to-day task to gain insight on the departments process
• Present Your Findings: Deliver a presentation of your project and research to key stakeholders
• Receive mentor and coaching: Work closely with your mentor receiving feedback and guidance to help you navigate your career path
• Participate in hands-on workshops: Led by industry experts, gain valuable insights and skills to equip you for success in the professional world

Compensation

• Competitive base pay starting at $20.00/hr
