Job summary

Orgill's Finance internshipis based at our Collierville Home Office and is a full-time onsite role. You will work with finance professionals across FP&A, accounting, and operations to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic projects.

You'll assist with data collection, reports, and presentations, and participate in budgeting and forecasting activities while learning internal controls and confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications

• Entry-level student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Available for the full internship June–August 2027 and onsite at the Collierville Home Office.
• Foundational understanding of financial analysis, data collection and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and accounting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support diverse financial projects within FP&A, Accounting, or Finance Operations.
• Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and data collection; prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for cost improvements.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and core planning activities, and assist with reconciliations and general ledger tasks.
• Collaborate with finance professionals, research industry practices, and participate in meetings.

The Tone:

This is a full-time internship at Orgill, located onsite at our Collierville Home Office. Orgill is a large, global organization with extensive business operations, driven by a commitment to supporting its partners. This role provides students with the invaluable opportunity to gain hands‑on experience supporting various financial activities, including analysis, reporting, and strategic projects. The intern will apply classroom knowledge directly to real-world financial situations, working alongside experienced finance professionals and business partners to contribute meaningfully to Orgill’s business operations.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Support diverse financial projects and initiatives within an assigned functional area, covering areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, or Finance Operations.
• Assist with comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, and data collection, including the preparation of reports, presentations, and spreadsheets for business use.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify critical trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, contributing to cost analysis and broader financial analytics efforts.
• Contribute to core budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities, alongside supporting essential accounting functions like reconciliations, account research, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations.
• Collaborate actively with finance professionals and business partners, researching financial information and industry practices, identifying process improvements, and participating in meetings and professional development.

The Must-Haves

• Background: Entry-Level, currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Able to commit to the full internship program from June–August 2027 and capable of working onsite at the Collierville Home Office for the duration of the program.
• Skills: Foundational understanding of financial analysis, data collection and reporting, budgeting and forecasting principles, accounting fundamentals, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to internal controls.
