Job summary

Hatch is offering a Finance Intern position at our Ambler, PA office. You will join the Shared Services group and support offices globally, gaining hands‑on experience in accounting, invoicing, and reporting.

The successful candidate is pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in business, accounting, or finance with a minimum 3.0 GPA and strong Excel skills; SAP familiarity is a plus. In‑office emphasis with flexibility for remote work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support various accounting areas and gain experience across the finance function.

• Collaborate with global teams and learn project accounting workflows.

Hatch is seeking a Finance Intern. Reporting to the Shared Services group, you will support offices globally working from our Ambler, PA office location.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a relevant degree
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Work on problems and gain experience in a variety of accounting-related areas
• Gain an appreciation for private sector accounting roles and responsibilities
• Recognize accounting aspects relevant to the engineering/professional services industry
• Collaborate with diverse teams locally and globally
• Work in an environment where you can apply your academic learning on a daily basis
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and analyses
• Assist with customer billing/invoicing
• Participate in the creation of reports and templates
• Support day-to-day finance department activities
• Support the project accounting group
• Support a variety of department business and operational needs

You bring to the role:

• Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables)
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus
• Previous co-op or internship experience is preferred
