Job summary

Douglas Motors in Summit, NJ is seeking an experienced Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager to lead the finance department and deliver customer-focused financing and protection options. You will develop a comprehensive sales process, work with lenders, and ensure timely compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has automotive financing experience, including Sub Prime lending and deal structuring; VW and Audi familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior automotive experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Experience with Sub Prime lending and deal structuring; VW/Audi experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive menu selling process to maximize the finance department’s profitability and product penetration.
• Track portfolio with lenders.
• Review and inspect the department’s paperwork flow daily to ensure timely deal turnaround.
• Ensure all deals are fully compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Demonstrate commitment to supporting the sales department in achieving its goals.
• Be an example of professional morals, ethics, and excellent customer service.
• Work closely with sales team on enforcement of proper selling methods.
• Set and maintain finance department work schedule.
