Job summary

Douglas Motors in Summit, NJ is seeking an experienced Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager to lead the finance department and deliver customer-focused financing and protection options. You will develop a comprehensive sales process, work with lenders, and ensure timely compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has automotive financing experience, including Sub Prime lending and deal structuring; VW and Audi familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior automotive experience preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
Experience with Sub Prime lending and deal structuring; VW/Audi experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive menu selling process to maximize the finance department’s profitability and product penetration.
Track portfolio with lenders.
Review and inspect the department’s paperwork flow daily to ensure timely deal turnaround.
Ensure all deals are fully compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines.
Demonstrate commitment to supporting the sales department in achieving its goals.
Be an example of professional morals, ethics, and excellent customer service.
Work closely with sales team on enforcement of proper selling methods.
Set and maintain finance department work schedule.
