Job summary

The Paramount Baltimore, part of Oak View Group, seeks an Accountant to manage financial records for the venue, ensure timely reporting, and maintain strong internal controls. The role covers accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, month-end close, budgeting, and analysis.

The position offers a $65,000 annual salary and benefits including health, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan with matching, and paid time off. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–4 years of accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, ADP, Coupa preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries per GAAP.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare month-end accrual logs and assist close processes.
• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements.
• Maintain vendor files and payment records.
• Generate customer invoices and monitor collections.
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Support annual financial audits and tax reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Provide financial data for strategic planning.
