Job summary

Vaco seeks a Business Development, Client Services professional to partner with CFOs and senior leaders, expanding advisory engagements in accounting, finance, tax, audit, and more. In this role you’ll present the right solution with your delivery team.

You’ll build relationships, manage opportunities from intake to fulfillment, and contribute to a high growth, entrepreneurial environment with uncapped commission and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• CPA, CFA, MBA or related designation highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting/financial consulting and/or audit.
• Public Accounting and/or Big Four experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop strong relationships with senior accounting & financial leaders.
• Connect with area business leaders by phone, email, in-person meetings, and professional networking events.
• Work with an elite recruitment team to fulfill special projects and interim positions in audit, financial reporting, FP&A, M&A, taxation, software implementations, and more.
• Keep a regular pulse on the market as it relates to businesses and hiring trends.
• Actively develop and maintain a target client list.
• Manage open client opportunities from intake to fulfillment.
• Provide high level oversight on existing engagements.
• Manage your daily and weekly schedule and activities in alignment with productivity goals.
