Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Business Development, Client Services professional with accounting or finance experience to build relationships with senior leaders and drive consulting engagements.

You will collaborate with delivery teams to position Vaco's services across CFO offices, audit, FP&A, M&A, and tax, while growing a network of strategic clients and managing opportunities end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; CPA, CFA, MBA or related designation highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting/financial consulting and/or audit.
• Public Accounting and/or Big Four experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop relationships with senior accounting and financial leaders.
• Connect with area business leaders by phone, email, in-person meetings, and professional networking events.
• Work with an elite recruitment team to fulfill special projects and interim positions in audit, financial reporting, FP&A, M&A, taxation, software implementations, and more.
• Keep a regular pulse on the market as it relates to businesses and hiring trends.
• Actively develop and maintain a target client list.
• Manage open client opportunities from intake to fulfillment.
• Provide high level oversight on existing engagements.
• Manage your daily and weekly schedule and activities in alignment with productivity goals.
