Job summary

Northpointe Staffing Professionals seeks an analyst within FX Operations to support trading and settlement processes, ensuring accurate books and records for FX clients.

You will work closely with counterparties and client services to resolve queries, identify process improvements, and support cash movements and settlements while minimizing risk across daily operations.

• Work with counterparties and client services in Securities to process trades and cash movements.
• Investigate client queries and daily issues with analytical rigor.

• Analyze processes to reduce risk and minimize repetitive work.
• Influence client behavior to improve operational and service outcomes.

Job description

Individual within this role will work with FX Operations Team which is primarily responsible for booking and settling of trades and accuracy of books and records of FX clients. The team's success is derived from a combination of process efficiency and adherence to Controls and risk management principles.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with counterparties and client services teams in the Securities Division to process trades and exchange cash movements
• Utilize investigative skills to find answers to client queries and solutions for issues that arise daily
• Investigate exceptions in internal books and records to identify resolution, and escal…
• Work closely with Treasury Operations on cash settlement to remove client lock ups and to mitigate the impact of large client transfers to firm funding projections
• Analyze and improve processes and procedures with an eye for reducing risk and eliminating repetitive effort
• Help influence client behavior to achieve superior operational and client service outcomes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be comfortable presenting complex information in a structured and concise manner, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple processing deadlines throughout the day

• Proven, hands-on experience with FX
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically pivot tables, look up functions, and general data analysis
• VBA coding and Excel/Outlook macro experience a plus but not required
