Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced FX Operations professional in Missouri to support institutional clients with accurate FX payment processing and settlement. You will verify, reconcile, and monitor multi-currency flows while coordinating with traders and relationship managers to ensure timely trade execution.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in financial operations, familiarity with WallStreet and MTS, and a solid understanding of AML/BSA and OFAC controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for corporate and institutional FX clients
• Process incoming and outgoing foreign currency payments accurately
• Verify and confirm FX transactions and settlements
• Monitor FX payment flows across currencies and platforms
• Perform daily reconciliations and resolve trade or payment discrepancies
• Investigate payment delays, trade mismatches, and compliance alerts
• Maintain transaction records in WallStreet, MTS, and SWIFT gpi systems
• Collaborate with front-office traders and relationship managers to ensure smooth trade execution
• Respond to client inquiries related to FX transactions
• Contribute to process improvements and system upgrade efforts

Job description

• Provide operational support for corporate and institutional clients on FX transactions
• Accurately process incoming and outgoing foreign currency payments
• Verify and confirm FX transactions and ensure settlements are executed accurately and timely
• Monitor and manage FX payment flows across various currencies and platforms
• Perform daily reconciliations and resolve trade or payment discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve issues related to payment delays, trade mismatches, and compliance alerts
• Maintain transaction records in WallStreet, MTS, and SWIFT gpi systems
• Collaborate with front-office traders, relationship managers, and clients to ensure seamless trade execution
• Respond to client inquiries related to foreign exchange transactions
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support system upgrades or automation efforts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 or more years of experience in financial operations
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Foreign Exchange experience (preferred)
• Bank operations experience and/or Capital Markets Operations experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of funds movement controls and compliance protocols (AML/BSA, OFAC) (preferred)
• Experience with payment processing, reconciliation, and investigations (preferred)
• Familiarity with FX products (spot, forward, swaps, options) (preferred)
• Experience with FX platforms and financial systems such as WallStreet System and MTS (preferred)
• Knowledge of global payment systems and SWIFT message formats (MT103, MT202, MT300) (preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills (preferred)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change (preferred)
• High attention to detail and accuracy in high-value, high-volume environments (preferred)
• Proven problem-solving abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines (preferred)
