Job summary

First Horizon Corp. is seeking a Foreign Exchange Operations Manager to lead the Advisor and Analysts who perform daily trading, cover and settlements.

You will coordinate FX Operations workflow and interact with internal and external clients, pricing trades and managing back-office reconciliations. The ideal candidate has 4+ years banking experience with FX exposure, leadership experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Workflow management for daily trading, cover, and settlement.
• Monitor activity in the bank’s foreign currency Nostro accounts (position management).
• Communicate with clients and assist with pricing and handling.
• Collaborate with internal partners to investigate reconciliation issues.
• Oversee periodic revenue and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate FX system testing and validation with Product & System support.

Job description

The Foreign Exchange Operations Manager is the leader responsible for the Advisor and Analysts performing daily trading, cover and settlements. This leader will coordinate workflow for FX Operations and interact with internal and external clients. Daily workflow includes pricing trades, completing back-office settlements, maintaining sufficient Nostro account balances, FX Loan operational management and associated reconciliation. The role also oversees periodic revenue and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Four years of banking experience with at least two years exposure to Foreign Exchange or Accounting

• High level of attention to detail and ability to explain concepts and transactions

The ideal candidate for this role will have completed college level coursework in International Finance and have some experience with Foreign Exchange in a fast-paced work environment that requires detailed communication and interaction with internal and external clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
