Job summary

RealREPP, a Connecticut-based financial services organization, seeks a Director of Finance to lead the Finance function, partner with the CFO and executives, and drive modernization across financial planning, reporting, treasury, and operations.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic guidance, mentoring a ~10-person team, overseeing controls, regulatory compliance, and technology-enabled improvements in data and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related.
• CPA, MBA or other professional designation preferred but not required.
• 10+ years of progressive finance, accounting, reporting, treasury, or operations experience.
• Established Director-level or comparable leadership experience.
• Experience leading finance teams and other finance leaders.
• Broad-based finance background across accounting, FP&A, reporting, treasury, operations, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Finance across planning, reporting, treasury, and operations.
• Partner with CFO and executives to support financial strategy and long-term objectives.
• Develop a high-performing Finance team with accountability and collaboration.
• Mentor and develop finance leaders and ensure succession readiness.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in key financial initiatives and transformations.
• Partner with IT and Data teams on financial systems, reporting, and process improvements.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, governance, and internal controls.
