Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Shelton, CT seeks a BU Finance Director (Wiring Device) to lead the finance function and partner with the GM to drive sales growth, margin expansion and strong controls. You will own the BU P&L, oversee financial planning, analysis, and strategic finance, and manage cross-functional finance activities across manufacturing and distribution operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• MBA or master’s in accounting/finance preferred.
• Professional certification (CPA/CMA/CGMA or equivalent) highly desired.
• 8+ years progressive finance experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial modeling expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own BU P&L and primary owner of financial reporting under US GAAP.
• Lead annual financial planning, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
• Partner with GM and cross-functional teams to drive growth and margin.
• Oversee SOX/compliance and internal controls across BU.
• Develop financial models for investments, pricing, and project decisions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting

MBA or master's degree in accounting or finance

CPA, CMA, CGMA, chartered accountant or equivalent
