Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a seasoned Director of Finance (Wiring) in Shelton, CT to lead the BU finance function and act as the GM finance partner. The role requires oversight of P&L, reporting, planning, pricing, and strategic finance across manufacturing and distribution operations.

The ideal candidate will bring 10–15 years in finance within a public manufacturing company, with strong leadership, forecasting, and model-building capabilities, plus proficiency in SAP, Blackline, and OneStream.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required or equivalent.
MBA or master's in accounting or finance is preferred.
CPA/CMA/CGMA or equivalent designation is strongly desired.
10–15 years of progressive finance experience in a publicly traded manufacturing environment.
Extensive accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting experience.
5+ years in a financial leadership role with direct team management.

Responsibilities

Own the BU P&L and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
Lead annual plans, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
Partner with operations to drive cost, productivity, and pricing initiatives.
Develop financial models to assess investments, product lines, and capacity changes.
Support M&A finance activities including due diligence and integration planning.
Present financial results and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
