Job Summary:

The Director of FP&A is an experienced finance professional orchestrating the processes and reporting of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function. The Director will collaborate closely with major stakeholders and finance teams to enhance financial performance and support strategic decision-making. This role ensures the seamless execution of financial processes and reporting, contributing to organizational growth through forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.

  • Continuously improve FP&A processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and finance teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
  • Drive the company-wide forecasting process for accurate and insightful forecasts.
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial projections.
  • Consolidate forecasts, budgets, and reporting to ensure accuracy and alignment with objectives.
  • Lead long-range planning initiatives for future growth.
  • Develop and execute financial reports and analyses to support decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate performance and identify trends.
  • Provide financial guidance on strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Maintain financial models and KPIs for strategic decisions.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and industry best practices.
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and operations
  • Proven track record in managing financial processes and ensuring accuracy
  • Ability to improve processes and financial operations
  • Experience in financial modeling, valuation, and performance evaluation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with financial software, including Excel and ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • CFA or CPA certification
  • Experience in healthcare and technology industries
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting methodologies
  • Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Ability to deliver forecasts and budgets timely and accurately
  • Strong critical-thinking and communication skills
  • Experience with financial systems conversions and implementations
