Job summary

NPS Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the corporate accounting function from its Cincinnati area operations. The role drives GAAP-compliant financial reporting, month-end close, and staff development across a multi-company environment.

You will partner with executives to optimize internal controls, oversee audits, and ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting for a nationwide portfolio of commercial properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (required).
• Minimum ten years of accounting management experience.
• Multi-company experience.
• Experience with internal and external LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of the accounting department and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Lead month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Develop staff through performance management and training.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Direct year-end audit preparations and liaise with auditors.
