Job summary

Tree Care Partners LLC is seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting, reporting, and internal controls for a multi-entity business with $50M+ revenue. You will lead day-to-day accounting operations, coordinate with HR and external vendors, and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of accounting/finance experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with multiple systems. CPA designation is preferred; a dynamic, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years progressive accounting and finance experience, starting in public accounting/audit and moving to multi-entity industry roles.
• Excellent accounting knowledge including familiarity with US GAAP; CPA designation preferred.
• Proficiency working with multiple systems and integrating technology to automate accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting systems and processes, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely financials.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, consolidation, and external reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Maintain robust internal controls and corporate compliance.
• Oversee enterprise risk including insurance programs with HR counterpart.
• Lead or support ERP and financial system implementations and enhancements.
