Job summary

NACBA in Columbus, GA is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting Services to lead all accounting operations for a diverse portfolio including hospitality, real estate, and restaurant entities. The role emphasizes strong internal controls, accurate reporting, and strategic guidance for senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA preferred, and proven leadership to supervise staff across multiple entities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years progressive accounting experience with leadership
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, payroll, tax reporting, and multi-entity consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations for multiple entities including general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management and banking relationships.
• Ensure timely sales, occupancy and other regulatory tax filings and tax information preparation for external advisors.
• Lead audits, lender reporting, and support acquisitions, development and property management accounting.
