Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a Director of Finance for Hotel Amarano Burbank - Hollywood to lead financial operations at a boutique property in Burbank, CA. You will oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategy to drive profitability while partnering with the GM and department heads.

The role combines high-level financial leadership with hands-on management of AP/AR, payroll, and internal controls, ensuring accurate reporting and strong compliance within a luxury hospitality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive financial leadership, hospitality preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and hospitality accounting standards.
• Experience with BirchStreet, Profitsword, UltiPro, Opera PMS, and Toast.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ethical and professional integrity with strategic business insight.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Serve as a key member of the hotel executive team advising on financial matters.
• Manage AP, AR, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Provide detailed financial analysis to improve efficiency and profitability.
