Job summary

Hutchinson seeks a senior financial leader to oversee cash flow, forecasting, and profitability across multiple manufacturing sites. Responsibilities include refining cost structures, monitoring working capital, and improving performance reporting.

The role requires a decade of financial management in automotive manufacturing and leadership experience, with ERP and advanced Excel proficiency, plus bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive financial management experience in the automotive industry (tier one automotive supplier).
• At least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in cash management, financial analysis, and performance reporting.
• Proven track record in managing fixed costs and optimizing profitability.
• Experience with inventory management and production standardization in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash flow management and forecasting with monthly analysis of working capital, inventory, and payment terms.
• Analyze revenue streams and margins; assess impact of price changes, exchange rates, depreciation, and R&D costs.
• Collaborate with production teams to monitor production standards and profitability.
• Develop reporting systems to track labor, materials, and other direct costs and variances.
• Lead inventory optimization to avoid excess/obsolete stock while ensuring supply.
• Monitor and manage fixed costs; identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Identify profitability improvement opportunities across manufacturing sites.
• Prepare accurate financial forecasts and budgets; analyze variances and propose actions.
• Annually prepare the Long-Term Plan and Budgets with executives and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and supply chain to align financial strategy.
