Job summary

Hutchinson is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead assigned automotive programs through full lifecycle in the United States. You will drive RFQ feasibility, design reviews, and handoff to production, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

The role requires strong leadership without direct supervision, clear governance, and risk management; excellent English communication; and a focus on meeting cost, schedule, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum five years in automotive product development, manufacturing, or program management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, validation, engineering change management, and automotive launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned programs across full lifecycle, including RFQ feasibility, launch readiness, and handoff.
• Establish program objectives, scope, deliverables, governance, cross-functional responsibilities.
• Lead program reviews, APQP/design/gate reviews, and launch readiness activities.
• Provide functional leadership to cross-functional teams; define commitments and owners.
• Facilitate cross-functional decisions and maintain risk/issue registers.
• Prepare concise program status reports covering timing, cost, quality, and risks.
