Chaffin Luhana LLP is seeking a Finance Director to drive financial planning, budgeting, and reporting in Pittsburgh. You will own forecasts, develop revenue projections with practice leaders, and oversee banking relations while collaborating with the CFO, COO, and department heads.

The role requires 8+ years in senior financial management, a finance-related degree (MBA/CPA preferred), and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field; MBA/CPA highly desirable.
• 8+ years in senior financial leadership, preferably in the legal sector.
• Strong understanding of law firm financial management, billing and accounting.
• Proficient with financial software, BI tools, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Own financial projections, forecasts, and planning models for leadership.
• Develop revenue projections with practice leaders including timing and expenses.
• Maintain cash flow forecast and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Model growth, staffing, compensation, and profitability initiatives.
• Lead annual operating budgets and department forecasts with CFO/COO.
• Oversee banking relations, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Support multistate tax strategy and reporting with CPA collaboration.
• Prepare forward-looking analyses highlighting assumptions and risks.
