Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Data Engineer II to design and optimize data pipelines that deliver timely financial data across systems. You will collaborate with Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data products and maintain scalable, auditable ETL/ELT workflows.

Responsibilities include building Snowflake pipelines, using SQL and Python in Dataiku and Databricks, and enabling Tableau analytics with performant views while upholding data governance and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of professional data engineering experience, including 2+ years with Snowflake (data modeling, SQL performance, warehouse administration).
• Advanced SQL and practical Python skills for data processing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines that ingest data from varied sources into Snowflake; ensure reliability, observability, and recoverability.
• Develop transformations using SQL and Python within Dataiku and Databricks to produce trusted finance data marts and tables.
• Automate and orchestrate workflows in Dataiku/Databricks; implement robust logging and monitoring.
• Enable Tableau analytics by publishing performant Snowflake views and semantic layers; optimize query patterns for dashboards.
