Job summary

Centraprise, Corp. is seeking a Data Engineer with Snowflake development expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehousing solutions on Snowflake.

You will work closely with analytics, BI, and product teams to ensure reliable, well-modelled data for reporting and decision-making. The role requires strong SQL, Snowflake architecture, ETL/ELT tooling, and Python scripting, with familiarity across Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data modelling experience.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience including architecture, performance tuning, and security features.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, and Matillion.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines feeding into Snowflake.
• Write and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake-specific features (Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Time Travel).
• Model data warehouses/marts (star/snowflake schemas) to support analytics and reporting.
• Manage Snowflake performance, cost optimization (warehouse sizing, clustering, caching), and security (roles, RBAC, masking policies).
• Integrate data from multiple sources using tools like dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or similar.
• Collaborate with data analysts/scientists to ensure data quality and accessibility.
• Implement CI/CD for data pipelines and maintain documentation.

Required Skills:
