Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking a Data Engineer II within the Insights, Strategy and Analytics (ISA) organization to design and build dependable ELT pipelines supporting analytics and AI/ML applications on SPE’s Snowflake platform.

You will work with product managers, analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to harmonize data, produce ready-to-use datasets, and ensure data governance and security while maintaining high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of analytics/data engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience with TV/AVOD data domains and metadata, audience analytics, or media strategy.
• Advanced SQL and Python; dbt pipelines experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requests into robust data models and semantic layers using dbt and SQL.
• Onboard new data sources into Snowflake by coordinating with IT and cloud operations.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver ready-to-use datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Contribute to a high-performance team culture with ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
