Job summary

Spectrum offers a paid, full‑time 11‑week internship designed to give you real‑world experience in the telecommunications industry. The role focuses on Finance Data and Analytics, including SQL‑based data solutions, reporting, and dashboards.

You will work alongside two teams, participate in development sessions, networking, and mentorship, and gain exposure to business partners across finance, accounting, and tax.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between May 2028 and May 2029.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract, transform, and consolidate financial data.
• Developing and maintaining databases that support finance, accounting, and tax reporting requirements.
• Creating automated reports and dashboards in Excel to track key financial metrics.
• Collaborating with business partners to understand reporting needs and deliver timely insights.
• Assisting with data quality validation and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
