Job summary

Aramark is hiring an entry-level accounting clerk to support accounts payable/receivable, data entry, and ledger reconciliation at Yosemite-area facilities in California. This on-site role involves processing invoices, posting payments, and preparing financial records with accuracy.

You will work with MS Excel and our accounting software to ensure precise reporting and timely month-end close, with opportunities for growth within the Aramark finance team.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, write and present information clearly.
• Strong math skills and ability to compute rates and percentages.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook; familiarity with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Compiles invoices, reports, and checks to substantiate business transactions.
• Verifies and posts details of transactions; reconciles ledgers or databases.
• Audits invoices, researches discrepancies, and obtains payment approvals.
• Codes data for input to the financial data processing system per procedures.
• Reconciles general ledger accounts and prepares weekly/monthly operating reports.
