Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a meticulous, organized Finance Coordinator. This team member will maintain documentation and records proficiently to ensure correctness and promptness of accounts payable and receivable as well as other deliverables. They will handle and resolve inquiries regarding billing problems and disputes and keep spreadsheets for reconciliation purposes. To ensure success, you need to be detail-oriented, focused, and organized. The Finance Coordinator will have excellent time-management skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Reporting activities related to pertinent processes
  2. Processing utility and other bills swiftly
  3. Ensuring accurate billing of customers
  4. Handling billing problems and disputes
  5. Supporting the development and tracking of budgets
  6. Liaising with various parties to gather and share relevant information
  7. Making required adjustments to customer accounts
  8. Improving and redesigning processes
  9. Maintaining records and documentation
  10. Maintaining the confidentiality of information
  11. Other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director or Finance Director
Requirements
  1. BA degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field
  2. 2+ years related work experience
  3. Outstanding financial and analytical skills
  4. Proficient with cash handling
  5. Proficient computer skills
  6. Proficient with MS Office, MS Excel, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online & Bill.com
  7. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  8. Excellent people skills
  9. Excellent organizational skills
Work Conditions

The Finance Coordinator will work on-site 1 day per week with the possibility of a 2nd day on-site during busy periods. The rate for this role is $20-$30/hour depending on qualifications. This role is not eligible for vacation or paid holidays. Sick leave will be earned consistent with New Jersey law.
