Overview:

SRMH Hahn Cancer Center is hiring a Financial Coordinator III.

The Financial Coordinator III partners with ancillary departments to provide patient-specific education on their insurance benefits for imaging and other outpatient services. Responsibilities include tracking TPA funding, serving as a point of contact for billing questions, working with revenue cycle team members, submitting claims and applications for financial assistance, and liaising with pharmaceutical representatives for drug and co-pay assistance programs.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• A healthcare certification from an accredited program or a Bachelor's degree can substitute for two years of experience

Experience

• Healthcare Experience - 5 years (Required)
• Experience in social services, financial counseling, or charity application processing (Required)
• Knowledge of uncompensated care and Medicaid guidelines
