Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Finance Co-op to participate in month-end closing procedures, assist the FP&A Manager, and support routine financial analyses.

You will engage in variance analyses, budgeting, AmEx consolidations, and departmental reporting in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The role emphasizes financial planning, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver insights for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Effective computer, verbal communication and written/report writing skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to communicate within the organization and to external parties.
• Detail-oriented with appropriate organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prepare accurate analyses and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Assist FP&A in preparing budget vs actuals (BVAs) files for their departments.
• Consolidate monthly AmEx reports for departmental analysis.
• Perform variance analysis on actuals vs forecast by department.
• Consolidate operating expenses monthly by department and update budget files.
• Assist with rolling and updating quarterly forecast with actuals.
• Follow policies, procedures, and control enhancements in assigned areas.
• Participate in various Finance projects as requested.
• Regular and predictable work performance.

• Prioritize duties and multi-task as required.
