Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. seeks a Financial Analyst in Kentucky to drive financial planning, reporting and analysis for assigned business areas. You will partner with departments to develop budgets, forecast performance and explain variances to leadership.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, assist in monthly close, and identify opportunities to improve reporting and KPIs. Strong Excel, PowerPoint and data skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related finance experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation of financial results preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a financial business partner to assigned departments.
• Support the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes for assigned departments, including leading meetings, analyzing assumptions and preparing forecast updates.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supplemental information.
• Assist in the monthly close process by attending review meetings with department owners in conjunction with the accounting team, providing commentary on variances, and updating partner departments with results.
• Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement KPIs and metrics aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, KPI development, operational performance metrics, and financial analysis processes.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and projects as requested by senior management
