Job summary

El Centro Family Health is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support the Finance team in NM. Under supervision, you will assist with AR/AP, cash receipts, and GL entries while ensuring accuracy and compliance with purchasing procedures.

Responsibilities include invoicing, reporting, depreciation, and coordination with procurement on asset records. The role emphasizes patient confidentiality and collaborative team work within a non-profit health center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in financial management or bookkeeping.
• One year of experience with automated financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Assists in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Processes cash receipts and assists Accountant III.
• Codes invoices, requisitions and purchase orders.
• Prepares financial disbursements and checks.
• Maintains general ledger data and depreciation entries.
• Collaborates with Procurement Clerk on fixed assets.
• Records grant/contract revenues accurately and timely.
