Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to oversee operational accounting, monthly close, and balance sheet reconciliations across entities. The role collaborates with management to provide financial insights, budget management, and ad-hoc reporting for trend analysis and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with full-cycle close ownership.
• Proficient in GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with accounting systems and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of general ledger data entry, reconciliations and reporting.
• Lead intercompany transactions, cost transfers and eliminations.
• Own full-cycle accounting for complex entities and capital projects.
• Review staff journals, balance sheets and supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and commentary for leadership.
• Lead annual budget, forecasting and multi-year projections.
