Qualifications

Job description

**The Opportunity:**As the **Finance/Budget Manager** for **The Department of Animal Science**, you will direct and manage the administrative, fiscal, and budgetary operations of the Department of Animal Sciences and serve as the principal fiscal advisor to the Chair. You will be responsible for strategic budget development and planning, financial analysis and forecasting, management of state, grant, gift, local, and self-sustaining funds, oversight of payroll and personnel costing, supervision of administrative support staff, compliance monitoring, internal controls, audit coordination, and the implementation of fiscal policies and procedures. In this role, you will ensure the responsible stewardship of departmental resources and compliance with University, state, and federal regulations while supporting the department's strategic goals and operational effectiveness.**Additional Information:**This is a **full-time** (100% FTE), **permanent** position. Overtime eligibility will be determined based on final salary placement. **Monthly Salary:** $4,942.10 to $7,569.55 | *Commensurate with experience and qualifications*In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
