Qualifications

  • Two years of experience at a level equivalent to Fiscal Specialist 1 AND 15 quarter hours OR 10 semester hours of college level accounting; OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Experience working efficiently and accurately with numbers.
  • Experience working with computers and computer software, especially spreadsheets and databases.
  • Demonstrated organization skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Handle purchasing and travel logistics (domestic and international).
  • Perform purchasing card/CTA card reconciliation and posting.
  • Prepare budget reconciliations and fiscal tracking across SMB operations.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve fiscal processes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and SMB personnel to deliver support services.

Duties include purchasing; domestic and international travel; purchasing card/CTA card reconciliation; establishing and developing procedures, fiscal tracking and posting; budget reconciliation; and other operational support functions. This position requires effective collaboration with multiple departments and all SMB personnel, including students, faculty, lab coordinators, and administrative staff.Additional Information:This is a full-time (100 % FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.Monthly Salary:$3,917.00 to $5,240.00 | Range 43 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 .In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 , the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
